ABOUT THE JOB
The Maintenance Assistant at Costco is responsible for janitorial services and general facility maintenance across multiple areas of the warehouse. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cleaning and janitorial duties throughout the facility, including restrooms, break rooms, and production areas.
- Operate trash and cardboard compactors and empty waste from designated areas.
- Maintain floors by scrubbing, changing water regularly, and responding quickly to spills.
- Clean light fixtures, windows, walls, ceilings, and other hard-to-reach areas as scheduled.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including litter removal, snow and ice control, and minor exterior tasks.
- Monitor and restock cleaning supplies and place merchandise in appropriate departments when required.
- Follow all safety, security, and departmental procedures at all times.
- Provide prompt and courteous service to members, employees, and suppliers.
