ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance Assistant at Costco, you will be responsible for providing janitorial and general maintenance services across various areas of the warehouse, including specialized departments. This position supports safety standards, equipment upkeep, and overall facility appearance while following established procedures.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform daily cleaning and janitorial tasks throughout offices, restrooms, break rooms, and work areas.
- Operate trash and cardboard compactors and dispose of waste properly.
- Respond promptly to spills and cleanup needs to maintain safety.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including litter removal and seasonal tasks.
- Maintain and replace lighting fixtures and perform basic facility upkeep.
- Restock and monitor cleaning supplies and maintenance materials.
- Follow all safety and security procedures while performing duties.
- Support other departments and maintenance-related tasks as required.
