ABOUT THE JOB
As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco, you will focus on preventing internal and external theft while identifying and reporting safety and security risks. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Conduct regular warehouse and perimeter patrols to monitor safety and security conditions.
- Observe, detect, and prevent theft, including identifying suspicious behavior.
- Investigate incidents involving potential shoplifting or internal theft.
- Prepare detailed incident and investigation reports for internal review.
- Maintain and secure evidence and documentation related to investigations.
- Communicate findings to warehouse and regional loss prevention management.
- Testify in court when required regarding loss prevention cases.
- Educate and support warehouse staff on loss prevention policies and procedures.
- Collaborate with other loss prevention teams and local partners to share information on theft trends.
