ABOUT THE JOB
The Food Service Assistant plays an essential role in the Food Court by helping prepare and serve menu items while ensuring a clean, safe, and efficient environment. The position involves food preparation, cash handling, restocking supplies, and following food safety and sanitation standards throughout each shift.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and serve hot and cold food items according to established recipes and procedures.
- Operate food preparation equipment such as ovens, warmers, and fryers.
- Take customer orders, process payments, and handle cash accurately.
- Assemble and present food and beverage orders for members.
- Clean and sanitize work areas, equipment, dining areas, and utensils.
- Restock ingredients and supplies from storage areas and coolers.
- Follow health and safety guidelines, including temperature controls and product rotation.
- Provide courteous and efficient service to Costco members.
- Assist in other warehouse areas as required.
