ABOUT THE JOB
As an Electronics Sales Assistant at Costco in Halifax, you will help drive a great in-warehouse shopping experience by providing knowledgeable support on electronics and major items. You’ll explain features, assist with merchandise selection, maintain clean and attractive displays, and help ensure products are properly stocked and secured, while following Costco’s standards for service and merchandising.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly, prompt member service by answering questions and recommending products.
- Demonstrate merchandise and explain key features, functions, and specifications.
- Assist members with loading products onto carts when needed.
- Maintain accurate product knowledge by reviewing product information and updates.
- Support merchandising by stocking shelves, maintaining product condition, and keeping displays organized.
- Set up, clean, and maintain department displays; align and face product to the front.
- Handle and return stray items to the correct locations and help maintain high stock levels.
- Assist with returns and signage accuracy as required.
- Help organize security lock-up items and keep the sales floor clear and safe.
