ABOUT THE JOB
The Electronics & Majors Sales Assistant at Costco works on the sales floor assisting members with questions, demonstrating products, and ensuring merchandise is well presented and accurately displayed. The role requires strong communication skills, attention to detail, and a genuine interest in technology and consumer electronics.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide prompt and courteous member service in the electronics and majors departments.
- Answer questions, demonstrate products, and explain features and specifications.
- Assist members with loading large items into carts.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of technology trends and products.
- Follow merchandising standards, including setting up and maintaining product displays.
- Stock merchandise and maintain high product availability.
- Create and verify accurate product signage and pricing.
- Coordinate with supervisors and forklift drivers regarding stocking priorities.
- Maintain department organization and assist with security lock-up procedures.
- Support other warehouse areas as required.
