Costco is hiring a Bakery Wrapper for its warehouse in Laval, QC. This role supports the bakery team by wrapping, labeling, and stocking bakery products, maintaining clean work areas, and providing excellent member service in a fast-paced environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will help prepare bakery items for sale by packaging products, applying accurate labels, and ensuring displays are stocked and organized. You may assist with light finishing tasks such as garnishing or glazing baked goods based on department procedures. This position also involves rotating product, monitoring freshness dates, and keeping the wrapping and sales areas clean and safe. In Quebec locations, candidates are typically expected to communicate in French (oral and written).
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap and package bakery products by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Label items accurately and ensure products are ready for sales floor presentation.
- Assist with finishing touches such as garnishing, drizzling, or glazing when required.
- Assemble boxes and packaging materials for baked goods and special orders.
- Weigh products and remove underweight, damaged, or defective items to maintain quality standards.
- Stock and rotate bakery items, monitor pull dates, and support freshness controls.
- Keep wrapping and bakery sales areas clean and organized, following safety procedures.
- Provide prompt and courteous member service and assist with other bakery duties as needed.
