Costco is currently hiring a Bakery Wrapper to join its bakery team in Edmonton, Alberta. This role plays an important part in preparing, packaging, and presenting bakery products while ensuring high standards of quality, freshness, and food safety in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Bakery Wrapper supports daily bakery operations by handling finished baked goods, ensuring they are properly wrapped, labeled, and stocked for sale. This position requires attention to detail, the ability to follow established procedures, and a commitment to maintaining Costco’s quality standards while providing excellent service to members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Wrap, package, and label bakery items by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Garnish and finish baked goods following approved Costco recipes and procedures.
- Inspect products for quality, removing damaged or non-compliant items.
- Stock and rotate bakery products, monitoring freshness and pull dates.
- Move products using carts or racks to maintain efficient workflow.
- Maintain cleanliness of the bakery and sales areas in line with safety guidelines.
- Assist members courteously and direct them to bakery products when needed.
- Support other bakery tasks or warehouse duties as required.
