ABOUT THE JOB
As a Bakery Wrapper at Costco, you will support daily bakery operations by preparing, packaging, and stocking baked products. The role focuses on maintaining product freshness, following established food safety procedures, and ensuring bakery items are attractively displayed and readily available for members.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Remove baked goods from containers and apply garnishes, icing, or glaze according to Costco standards.
- Wrap and package bakery products by hand or using wrapping equipment.
- Weigh, label, and inspect products to ensure quality and consistency.
- Identify and remove defective or underweight items from sale.
- Move products using wheeled racks and restock bakery displays as needed.
- Monitor product rotation, pull dates, and comply with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain a clean and organized wrapping and sales area.
- Assist with additional bakery duties and support other warehouse areas when required.
