ABOUT THE JOB
As a Baker at Costco, you will be responsible for preparing and baking a wide range of bakery items following established formulas and procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Prepare and bake bakery products according to Costco formulas and production standards.
- Measure, assemble, and mix large quantities of ingredients accurately.
- Operate industrial mixers and bakery equipment used for dough, batter, and fillings.
- Shape, roll, and portion dough for breads and pastries.
- Monitor ovens and baking times to ensure product consistency and quality.
- Transfer baked goods to cooling racks at the appropriate time.
- Maintain sanitation, temperature control, and food safety in compliance with health regulations.
- Follow department procedures for quality control and production efficiency.
- Provide courteous member service when required.
- Assist with other bakery or warehouse duties as needed.
