ABOUT THE JOB

As a Loss Prevention Clerk at Costco in Halifax, you will help safeguard the warehouse against internal and external theft while promoting a safe and secure environment for employees and members. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Monitor the warehouse and perimeter to identify safety and security concerns.
  • Observe, detect, and prevent theft within the warehouse.
  • Detain and interview suspected shoplifters when warranted.
  • Prepare detailed reports related to investigations and incidents.
  • Maintain and organize evidence and case files.
  • Report internal and external theft situations to management.
  • Collaborate with management and law enforcement when required.
  • Testify in court related to theft investigations if necessary.
  • Support and educate warehouse staff on loss prevention policies.
