ABOUT THE JOB
As a Maintenance Assistant, you will be responsible for janitorial services and general upkeep throughout the facility. This includes cleaning production and common areas, operating equipment, and assisting with basic maintenance tasks to support a safe and well-organized workplace.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Perform routine cleaning and janitorial duties across offices, restrooms, break rooms, and production areas.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment, including floor scrubbers and compactors.
- Empty trash and recycling, ensuring designated areas remain clean and organized.
- Respond promptly to spills and safety issues to maintain a safe environment.
- Assist with grounds maintenance, including litter removal and seasonal tasks.
- Support light maintenance tasks such as changing bulbs, washing windows, and minor repairs.
- Restock cleaning supplies and monitor inventory levels as needed.
- Follow all safety, security, and operational procedures at all times.
