ABOUT THE JOB

The Cashier Assistant supports daily front-end operations by helping members during checkout, packing purchased items, and ensuring the register area remains clean and efficient. This position focuses on providing excellent member service while maintaining safety, accuracy, and teamwork on the warehouse floor.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Provide courteous member service by greeting members, answering questions, and assisting with packing purchases.
  • Pack and transfer items efficiently from the conveyor belt to carts or flatbeds following member preferences.
  • Support cashiers by running items, supplies, and merchandise to keep checkout lines moving.
  • Maintain cleanliness and safety of the register and front-end areas, addressing spills or hazards promptly.
  • Retrieve carts and flatbeds from parking areas while following safety procedures.
  • Assist with related tasks such as stocking supplies, returning products, and operating compactors or balers.
  • Support promotional activities and assist in other warehouse areas as needed.
