ABOUT THE JOB
As a Cashier Assistant at Costco, you will support daily front-end operations by packing items, moving merchandise, and assisting members throughout the checkout process. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Assist members at checkout by packing items and helping load purchases onto carts.
- Support cashiers by transferring items, running merchandise, and keeping checkout lines moving smoothly.
- Maintain cleanliness of the register area and front-end spaces, addressing spills and hazards promptly.
- Retrieve carts and flatbeds from the parking area while keeping entrances clear and organized.
- Restock supplies such as boxes, register materials, and merchandise as needed.
- Follow safety procedures and proper handling practices at all times.
- Perform opening and closing tasks, including returns, paperwork collection, and general area cleanup.
