ABOUT THE JOB
As a Food & Consumables Team Associate at Walmart, you will help keep the food and consumables department organized, fully stocked, and customer-ready. This position involves zoning shelves, rotating products, checking expiration dates, and following cold chain compliance and food handling procedures. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide friendly and helpful customer service to shoppers.
- Zone and organize food and consumables areas to ensure products are easy to find.
- Stock shelves and rotate products following FIFO practices.
- Check expiration dates and remove expired or damaged items.
- Ensure merchandise is correctly signed, priced, and labeled.
- Follow food safety, cold chain, and temperature control procedures.
- Support ordering, markdowns, and inventory processes as required.
- Comply with Walmart policies and operational guidelines.
