Costco is currently hiring a Member Service Assistant to join its warehouse team in Quebec City. This customer-facing role plays a key part in delivering excellent member experiences while supporting warehouse safety, security, and daily operations.
ABOUT THE JOB
The Member Service Assistant acts as one of the first and last points of contact for Costco members. This role focuses on welcoming members, verifying memberships, maintaining safety and security standards, and assisting with receipt verification at warehouse exits. The position also supports overall warehouse operations and contributes to a safe, organized, and friendly shopping environment.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Greet and welcome members upon entry, verify membership cards, and maintain accurate entry counts.
- Conduct regular warehouse safety and security checks, identifying and reporting hazards.
- Monitor entrances and exits, keeping areas clean, organized, and accessible.
- Verify member receipts at exit points, ensuring accuracy and loss prevention.
- Provide courteous assistance, directing members to products and service areas as needed.
- Observe and report suspicious activity to management and follow established safety procedures.
- Support other warehouse departments when required.
